About Healing Oak School of Massage

Our mission is to enhance the health of individuals, families, and communities by skillfully training those who reach out to others with care, comfort and compassion by providing a quality education.
OUR INSTRUCTORS
Myrna M. Simpson, LCMT, Owner / Directer
Ms. Simpson has been practicing massage for more than ten years. Her passion for sharing her talents as a massage therapist and then teaching was a natural progression into ownership of the school. Her goal is to continue to realize her dream of sharing her knowledge of alternative medicine, balance and massage to others. Ms. Simpson specializes in Deep tissue,Sports massage,Trigger Point Therapy,Swedish, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Reiki, and Lypo.
Daun L. Webb
Daun has studied alternative medicine and healing for over 30 years. As a young child her mother, (a Comanche Indian) and father, (a Pacific Islander) instilled the importance of natural healing, energy work, and building a connection with nature. She is an avid supporter of naturalistic healing vs. pharmaceutical healing. Her love of helping others and wellness lead her to seek out massage therapy.Daun attended A-Z massage school and has completed 4,820 practical hours of experience. She specializes in several different modalities including; Lomi-Lomi, Hot Stone, Ayurveda, Pregnancy, Myofascial release and Trigger Point massage. Her vast knowledge of anatomy and neuromuscular pathways has helped Daun to facilitate neuromuscular releases in tender and very stiff areas without undue pain to her clients.
Daun has followed her passion and focused her love for Lomi-Lomi as her primary channel for healing, connecting the energies of the spirit and the physical to promote a whole therapy for her clients.
Elton Barthel
Elton Barthel has been a Massage Therapist for the past ten years. Teaching hundreds of students over seven years the art of Massage. He has a well estabished clientel base, which he is very dedicated to his business. Currently Elton is teaching at The Healing Oak School of Massage. Passing on real world experience and knowledge of Massage Therapy.

I am delighted to be your Instructor for the Clinical Aromatherapy Classes.
These classes are intensely informative, so come prepared to receive a great deal of information. I share my knowledge and experiences of Aromatherapy with you, from over 11 years of practice using essential oils in clinical settings as well as private practice, and, product formulation.I am originally from London, England and that’s where I was initially trained in Clinical Aromatherapy, since the use of essential oils in Europe, especially France, has long been a traditional support method for improving the ‘terrain’ of the body, the holistic view , if you like
Vicki Albin
Vicki felt the winds of change and choose to follow, leaving the corporate world behind and following new passions. She is the West Coast Trainer for Baby's First Massage, a certified massage therapist and instructor. Modalities include massage, craniosacral therapy for all ages and stages in life (especially obstetrics), Touch 4 Health practioner, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and uses minerals /stones and dowsing for balancing the physical and etheric. Learning new ideas/techniques and sharing with others is such fun!
